Kathie Lostetter Sculpture

My mythic animal sculpture is influenced by tales from ancient cultures and a respect for wild animal's incredible spiritual integrity and value to our world. The theme of nurturing and the loving care of the young as well as all life on this planet weaves through it. Animal helpers have emerged throughout time and have worked with shamans and visionaries of many cultures.

About the Sculpture

Each unique sculpture is hand-built in clay and then fired. I then use oil paint to create vibrancy and depth. I finish them with beadwork and semi-precious stones. The animals represented on this website are just some of what I've done and I am often asked to do special animals or groups of animals. Not all the pieces shown are available but I can make related ones. Prices range from $400-$3600 depending on size.
